The Albion Raptors lost a tough defensive battle to the Syracuse DA this afternoon by a score of 1-0.

Having to play the entire game a player down and no subs, the Raptors started the game on the defensive. Throughout the entire game they were disciplined defensively to limit Syracuse's chances. Goalkeeper, Lauren Wehling, made some big saves to keep the game at 0-0.

While the Raptors played a strong game in their defensive third, they couldn't get any attack going forward. It wasn't until the last five minutes of the game that Syracuse was able to capitalize on a quick shot to the far post to get the 1 goal advantage.

The Raptors are back in action this Saturday, as our JV indoor group competes in the Geneseo Tournament. Their first game is still to be determined.
