The Raptors dropped to .500 tonight, losing their second league game to Hilton by a score of 3-1.

Hilton jumped on Albion early, taking advantage on a defensive breakdown to get an early 1-0 lead. Not long after, Hilton was almost able to get in on a breakaway, but goalkeeper, Lauren Wehling, was able to come up with the ball on the 1v1. The Raptors started to get some momentum back, while they didn't create very many chances, the chances they did create were very dangerous. Their best opportunity came off a cross from Abby Scanlan, she sent a high ball across the box to Grace Levett on the far side. Levett was able to connect for the volley, only be denied by the Hilton goalkeeper with a diving save. Scanlan, Mack Harmon, and Ella Fadale were all able to add shots on goal, but were also turned away by the Hilton goalkeeper. The Heat were able to double their lead by the end of the half, after finishing a cross with a volley at the back post.

The second half started with another early Heat goal. The Hilton striker was able to get behind the Raptors back line and finish a shot from the top of the box. The rest of the half went back and forth. Albion started to limit Hilton's opportunities, with Wehling coming out of her box to break up a potential breakaway, but Albion was not able to connect up top for the attack. It wasn't until Kiersten Rodas drew a foul in the attacking third that the Raptors were able to get on the scoreboard. Maija Young sent a well-placed free kick across the box, where Scanlan was able to get on the end of it and head it in for the goal.

The Raptors are next in action next Saturday, November 30, at 8:00 PM against Fairport Soccer Club.
