Coming off a tough loss last week, the Albion Raptors defense came out strong to hold Ganada JV to a 0-0 tie.

Albion had their work cut out for them with few subs, midfielder, Mack Harmon, had to step in and play goalkeeper for the Raptors. The game was a true defensive battle, with both teams only seeing a few chances at scoring. The Raptors controlled the ball most of the first half, but were unable to find the back of the net. Their best chance came late in the half, off a corner kick from Claire Squicciarini. She played the ball to the back post to find Kenzi Hapeman for a one-time shot, but Ganada's goalkeeper made a great save to deny the goal.

Ganada turned it up in the second half, keeping possession the majority of the time. The Raptors defense played a great game, limiting Ganada's offense to only a few shots. Harmon came up big on those shots, as well, stopping their best chance of the game by tipping the shot over the crossbar.

Trying to get back in the win column, the Albion Raptors will face off against the Cobras 03 on January 13, at 10:00 AM.
